This is Eastside
Explore our collection of unique self-catering cottages in the heart of The Pentland Hills near Edinburgh, Scotland's historic capital. Surrounded by a storybook landscape of wild heather clad hills and glens, Eastside is idyllic throughout the changing seasons. Winter's snowy peaks give way to the lush greens of spring and summer, and the purple heather of early Autumn.
A special place to stay
Miles of hiking from the doorstep and incredible hilltop views all the way to distant Highland mountains make Eastside a unique retreat. Beautiful architect-designed spaces within original 18th Century farm buildings create the perfect Scottish basecamp. After a long day exploring, curl up by a log fire, relax in our wood-fired sauna, or soak in a hot tub under the stars.

Eastside farm
Eastside has been farmed by the Cowan family for five generations. Our Scottish Blackface sheep have played an important role in forming the landscape over centuries, producing organic grass-fed lamb, mutton, and wool alongside our environmental work.
